Finally, Yoleo has made something heavy-duty!
I’ve been reviewing weight benches for this website for over a decade, and I’m used to Yoleo only making the lightweight budget dumbbell benches, which, for price, are pretty decent, but I always hoped for something more from these guys, so it was a nice surprise to see them release the Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench.
Is it commercial? I think calling it a commercial bench might be pushing it a bit, but heavy-duty, yeah.
This thing weighs 60lb, which is heavy. It’s a good sign that the bench is made from high-quality materials. The heavier the better when it comes to weight benches. We want to feel like we’re training on a tank.
Still, a high-end commercial-grade weight bench, costing around $400, weighs as much as 100lb, so we’re still a little light for commercial-grade, but for a company like Yoleo, this is a serious weight bench compared to what they normally make.
The Essentials Are There!
There are a fair few of these semi-commercial heavy-duty benches on the market right now. Xmark makes a couple; Rep Fitness, and PowerBlock just released one and there are many others, but a lot of those heavy-duty benches don’t get all the essentials right.
Yoleo has done their research, and it tells. The height of their new commercial bench in flat is 17’8″ from the floor to the top of the pad, which is great.
17.8″ is the industry-standard height for commercial flat benches, and I always hope to find this height on higher-end adjustable benches. Because when you buy an adjustable weight bench, there is no reason why it shouldn’t be just as good in flat as it is in incline.
And the height in flat is something a lot of the other heavy-duty adjustable benches get wrong. Often, they’re too high, some as high as 22″.
So a big thumbs up to Yoleo for their new heavy-duty bench, which is great for both flat and incline workouts.

So far, I’m impressed with the Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench. It’s a solid, sturdy offering from these guys. There doesn’t seem to be any drawbacks, even the backpad is a good length at 32″, so taller users should be fine with this bench.
Yes, I’m liking it and think it’s a bench that deserves a much closer look, so in today’s review, we’ll take a close look at everything this bench has to offer, including any drawbacks.
Also, at the end of the review, I’ll compare the Yoleo Bench to another fav of mine in this price bracket, the Xmark 7630, as it will be interesting to see how these two benches match up.

Why Do We Like The Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench?
I’ve already mentioned I love the height of this bench in flat, I’m happy Yoleo got that right, but there’s a lot more to like about this bench. I think when people unbox this bench, the first thing they’ll be impressed with is the thickness of the steel used for the frame.
I’m not quite sure if theyve used the 11 gauge or 14 here, but it’s heavy-duty stuff
The heavy-gauge frame and bench stability are what sell this bench. We have to remember this bench costs under $200, it’s not a $400 commercial bench, and it would be unfair to compare it to one.
For under $200, you get a lot of weight bench, and it’s rock solid. You can lift heavy with this bench, it’s a great choice for anyone who owns a rack/cage or just for serious lifters using dumbbells.
There’s no wobble with the Yoleo Bench, the wide rear stabilising feet and thick rubber pads really help keep this bench stable, and the 60lb weight of the bench adds to the sturdy feel.
Fast To Adjust Ladder System For The Backpad
The ladder adjustment system for the backpad is another feature I like about this bench. A ladder system is much faster to adjust than pull-pin-type systems, and it’s sturdier, too.
Also, with a ladder adjustment system, you don’t risk the pin snapping under heavy loads, which I’ve seen a few times and is definitely something you want to avoid.
I always recommend choosing a ladder adjustment system for the backpad when buying an adjustable bench. They’re faster, sturdier, and safer than the pull pin systems.
10 Adjustable backpad Positions but no Decline
The Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench boasts a large amount of backpad positions except there’s no decline, so we can call this a full FID bench (flat, incline, decline), which is a bit of a shame.
I know a lot of guys like to decline press, but it’s not a deal breaker. I think decline pressing is overrated. I prefer weighted dips to work and add mass to the lower pecs. But, sadly, yeah, there’s no decline pressing with this bench.
However, I do like that Yoleo has included both the full 90 degrees for seated shoulder press and 75 degrees, as many lifters disagree on the best incline angle for seated shoulder presses.
I prefer 75-80-degree angles for seated shoulder press, simply because a 75-degree angle allows me to arch my back slightly. It gives me a more stable base to press from, which means more power. Also, 75 degrees allows the front delts a better range of motion.
Still, many like the 90 degrees, we’re all different. It’s really whatever suits you best.
So whatever you prefer, at least Yoleo has given you a choice of angles for shoulder pressing.

3-Way Adjustable Seat
When you pay a decent amount for an adjustable weight bench, you expect it to feature an adjustable seat. And if it doesn’t, then look for a different bench because an adjustable seat is an essential feature.
The reason an adjustable seat is so important is that it stops your butt from slipping down the seat when incline pressing, which is especially important when pressing heavy.
An adjustable seat provides you a stable base to press from, which is exactly what you want; without a stable base, it will have negative effects on power and form.
The Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench features a 3-way adjustable seat that uses a ladder system for adjustments.
Can It Handle Its 2300lb Weight Capacity?
A lot of these companies that produce weight benches love to throw around crazy high weight capacities to help sell their benches. I’m used to seeing it all the time with the low-cost benches, when in reality, it’s completely unrealistic.
And I feel Yoleo is guilty of this too. A 2300lb weight capacity for a weight bench that costs under $200 is nuts. Okay, maybe their commercial bench could take that kind of weight a couple of times, but on a daily basis, it’s highly unlikely.
It is a heavy-duty bench, but it’s not a commercial-grade beast. I doubt anyone will take this bench to its max capacity, but even if you could its not worth the risk.
A more realistic weight capacity for a well-made heavy-duty bench costing under $200 is around 800-1000lb. Which is more than enough for most lifters.

High-Density Foam – The Good Stuff
The padding is important, it’s really important, too soft and it’s going to cause stability issues, too hard and it’s going to be off-putting, you need the padding to be somewhere in between.
And this is why high density foam is perfect for weight bench’s padding, it’s not too soft or too hard, it’s just right. And has always been the gold standard for weight benches.
The Yoleo Commercial bench uses 2.4″ high-density foam padding, which is exactly what we’re looking for.
The padding is covered in PU twill leather, which is hard-wearing stuff. I find it lasts longer than PVC and feels better. I’m happy with both the padding and covering on the Yoleo Bench.

Assembley – 30 Minutes
One of the negatives of buying a heavy-duty bench is that most of them do not come pre-assembled. You’ll have to do it yourself. It’s not difficult, the instructions are clear, and the tools for the job are provided. Takes around 30 minutes, just take your time and make sure you get it right.
If you hit any problems, just check out the assembly video on Amazon.
Once assembled, the widest part of the bench is 25″, and the length, measured to the end of the handle, is 54″, which means this bench can be used with most power racks.
Anything I Didn’t Like?
Theres not much I can find to fault about the Yoleo Commercial Weight Becnh, for the money it’s a steal, still if I were to be picky the lack of a decline angle for the back pad is a shame, personally I probably wouldn’nt use it as I’m not a huge fan of decline pressing, but some lifters are, and I feel at this price you kind of expect a decline angle for the backpad.
However, you can put the backpad into a deline angle if you lay it completely flat over the ladder adjustment system, which will give you a -15 degree decline, but this is only for decline bodyweight exercises, not recommended for lifting.
The Good
Rock solid semi-commercial weight bench at a great price
Heavy duty steel frame weighing 60lb. It’s a serious bench
Ladder adjustment system for backpad and seat – fast to adjust and sturdy
Excellent bench in flat and incline – floor to top of pad height is 18.”
Adjustable seat – provides support when incline pressing
Love the padding – high-density foam, not too soft or too hard
Transport wheels and handle, makes it easy to move
The Bad
No decline angle for the backpad
Gap between seat and the backpad is quite large might be off putting for some
Alternative

Xmark Power Series Weight Bench
I’ve always liked the Xmark benches, these guys have a ton of experience building heavy-duty gear, and if you don’t want to pay Rogue or Rep Fitness prices, Xmark is the next best thing. And to honst just as good.
The Xmark Power Series Weight bench formally the (7630) is my favorite weight bench from these guys. It’s made of 11-gauge commercial-grade steel. It’s another rock-solid weight bench, and at 70lb, it has an even heavier-duty feel than the Yoleo.
It boasts 7 adjustable backpad positions and 3 for the seat, which is more than enough for all your pressing needs. We also have the high-density foam padding for the seat and back pad, which is always good to see.
A more realistic 1500lb capacity for the Xmark weight bench, and it’s rated for both use and commercial use because of that impressive 11-gauge steel frame.
It’s a no frills beast of a bench and has been one of my favs for years. Still priced $100 higher than the Yoleo Weight Bench, it may be a little steep for some.
It’s certainly a bench worth serious consideration, built by a company with 25 years of experience, it’s a bench that deserves to be at the top of any serious lifter’s list.
To Sum Up
The Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench is definitely a bench to take seriously. For a company that usually makes budget lightweight dumbbell benches, their new commercial bench is a huge step up and something I think they’ve done really well with.
Yoleo put everything into this bench, it’s great to see when a company gets something right. I love the height in flat of the Yoleo Bench just under 18″ is perfect and makes their bench just as impressive in flat as it is in incline.
Also, there’s no annoying wobbles; it is rock solid, as so many users have mentioned. The stability and heavy-duty build are, of course, what really sell this bench.
The fast-to-adjust ladder, high-density foam padding, and adjustable seat all add to the appeal of the Yoleo Commercial Weight Bench.
Not quite commercial grade, but not far off, and with a price tag well under $200, its going to appeal to a lot of serious lifters on a budget.
